MemberDo not worry – Botanicalls will continue to live! We will hopefully be posting new version of the Botanicalls software soon, but in the meantime please feel free to share your own revised code in this forum.
Just a note – due to this update in Twitter’s authentication system, ALL Botanicalls units will need to be reprogrammed. You can read how to reprogram your Botanicalls unit here:

MemberThe yellow LED only lights up when a message is being sent. Does it light up when you press the “test” button? If it lights and then goes out, it means your tweet has gone through successfully. If it lights and then blinks, it means there was a communication error and the tweet did not go through.
If tweets are going through but the yellow LED never lights up, it’s possible that the LED is soldered in backwards. You want to make sure the positive leg of the LED, the anode, goes through the hole marked “+”. You can see here how to identify which side is positive.
Check those things, let us know how it goes, and we can take it from there!

MemberWe’re happy to help you troubleshoot on the forums, or you can also email us directly at [email protected] if it’s more convenient. The blinks that you are seeing indicate that for some reason the network connection is not being made. Since you’re not able to monitor serial activity, it would be helpful if you could describe your network setup. Where is your board installed? (Office, home, etc.) And how is it connected?
Kate
MemberYou can find information on how to connect your board in the “Connect Your Leaf” section. I’m assuming you’re using the leaf board and not the earlier model of the kit…
In terms determining what the error is, do you happen to have an FTDI cable? If so, there’s more monitoring you can do with the Serial Monitor in Arduino that would be helpful for debugging.
