My leaf just died. Had problems communicating with the board and now the TX light on my SparkFun remains on. Leaf dead, FTDI board dead?

I understand I will need a USB cable to reprogram the botanicalls unit? Where do I order such a cable? It seems like all your retailers are currently out of stock?

I so agree. Have been running the kit for a while and found it to be utterly boring. Only now I found out I need some freakin cable to be able to customize the alerts.

Where do I get a cable like this and why was it not included in the kit?????

This was a bit disappointing to find out….

Why not add a multi-voltage power supply to the kit and make everybody happy? If this is too expensive, leave the power supply out of the kit, charge less for kit, postage and packaging and save the environment whilst you’re at it….

Right now, I had to get a new transformer (15 EUR) and had to throw away the 110V adapter. This is more waste than my ficus will be able to ‘green’ in it’s entire life. Not very green…. I think this is unfortunate given the nature of the product….

What I mean is: Can I switch of the botanicalls kit at night so that it does not twitter me awake on my mobile phone or will I miss status updates that way? (i.e. messages from the night get lost)
